Hi guys, Spike here, and I'm just gonna be giving you these rules Very Happy
Please note that each rule has a PS (Punishment Severity) rating next to it. The ratings are as follows:
1: A rating of 1 means that if you disobey this rule, you get a warning. Three warnings equals a one week ban. Three one week bans equals one 2 month ban, and three of those equals a perma ban.
2: A rating of 2 means that if you disobey this rule, you get a three-day ban. This is equivalent to warnings as in if you get three of these, you get a weeklong ban and so on.
3: A rating of 3 means that if you disobey this rule, you get a one-week ban.
4: A rating of 4 means that if you disobey this rule, you get a 2 month ban.
5: A rating of 5 means that if you disobey this rule, you get a 5-month ban. 2 five month bans equal a permaban.

Anyways, here are the rules.

RULE 1: ABSOLUTELY NO INAPPROPRIATE/PORNOGRAPHIC CONTENT. PERIOD.
This includes links, images, and fictions. This rule has a PS of 5.

RULE 2: BE RESPECTFUL TO YOUR FELLOW MEMBERS.
Don't fly off the handle at anyone. Personal insults, racial slurs, and anything that involves flaming and/or trolling falls under this rule. This rule has a PS of 1.

RULE 3: CENSORSHIP.
If you must swear, please censor your words. And while this forum was developed for teens and tweens, I advise you to stay away from the F word. This rule has a PS of 1.

RULE 4: THE CHAT.
Dont abuse the Chat down at the bottom of the page. Spamming in the chat will result in an immidiate ban from the chatroom. This rule has no PS, because the Chat does have it's own seperate rules which will be in a different topic.

RULE 5: NO ILLEGAL CONTENT
Simply, it is prohibited for users to post any content that breaks any laws or infringes copyright. This includes, but is not limited to, information and resources relating to hacking, promotion of terrorism (including cyber-terrorism), and so on. If you are unsure, feel free to PM a member of staff and ask for clarification before you make your post.

Also, it is strictly prohibited to breach privacy of anyone, whether they be a member of the forums or not. You may not post any real-world information, like full names, addresses, etc., and, notably including, logs of IM conversations, private messages (if a PM breaks a rule, PM a moderator directly - do not quote it on the forum), emails or other such information without express permission of all parties involved. This rule has a PS of 3.

RULE 6: NO PLAGARISM
"Plagiarism", as defined in the 1995 Random House Compact Unabridged Dictionary, is the "use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work." On this forum, it is strictly prohibited to post anything that is not your own, original work, and claim it as your own. This rule has a PS of 4.

RULE 7: NO SPAM
"Spam" has many definitions and comes in many forms. On this forum, it is prohibited to consistently make short posts, posting twice in a row of the same thread within a 24-hour period, post a thread in the wrong location , intentionally go off-topic in a thread, flood any part of the board with threads and/or replies, "stalk" another member's threads and/or replies, make threads and/or replies identical or almost identical in nature to ones that already exist, and etc. If you are unsure, feel free to PM a member of staff and ask for clarification before you make your post.

Advertising also falls within the bounds of spam. On this forum, while some things are acceptable, it is prohibited to advertise real-life products or similar, non-internet related goods, services, or information anywhere on this forum, whether it being in a thread, reply or profile field. Additionally, it is prohibited to post threads or replies advertising non-Dragonclub websites, like blogs, forums and online-shopping sites. However, it is acceptable to place links to user-owned blogs, forums and other websites that do not advertise any of the aforementioned real-world goods, and additionally don't infringe the rules of The Dragon Club, in profile fields only. This rule has a PS of 2.

RULE 8: NO ACCOUNT ABUSE
Membership to The Dragon Club is a privledge, not a right. It is obviously prohibited for any member to abuse any part of their account or other feature of the site, namely profile information fields, avatars, signatures, the calendar, the Private Message system, the Report system, and/or of course access to the board itself, and/or utilise these privledges in order to break any rules.

Members of The Dragon Club are not allowed more than one account. There is no reason for you to have more, and any "double accounts", and potentially your "main account", will be banned. This rule has no PS, and breaking this rule results in an insta-ban for your alt and possibly an IP ban for your main account.

I hope these rules help Very Happy
